St. James auction rescheduled

CALLICOON, NY —The St. James Church auction, postponed due to rain, has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 29. Preview and registration start at 3:00 p.m. and the auction starts at 4:00 p.m.

Auctioneer/junior warden Darko Hreljanovic noted that good weather actually came through precisely during the hours when the auction would have been in full swing if it had not been postponed. Unfortunately, the decision to postpone had already been made on the basis of a Weather Channel prediction. Apparently the prayers were more effective than the weather man.

The rescheduled auction will occur rain or shine. Look for the white tent on the lawn at 9279 Route 97 in Callicoon.
