The Great Zucchini Challenge

YOUNGSVILLE, NY—Slow Food Upper Delaware River Valley will present the second annual Great Zucchini Challenge on Saturday, August 22 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Cutting Garden, 4055 State Route 52. Admission is free.

Take a forestry history hike

MILFORD PA—A guided hike along the Forestry Trail at Grey Towers National Historic Site, 122 Old Owego Turnpike, will introduce participants to the history of forestry in America on Saturday, August 22.

The moderate hike, which begins at 1:30 p.m., is less than one mile long and includes a steep incline. Regular tour fees apply, and participants can tour the Grey Towers mansion for half price when tickets are purchased together.
