Frost Valley hosts 3-D archery shoot

CLARYVILLE, NY — Frost Valley YMCA’s outdoor sporting program will hold a 3-D Archery Shoot on Saturday, August 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 2244 Frost Valley Road.

Competition categories include cub, novice, youth, traditional, women, hunter, open pro and top bow classes. Foam animals are set in natural terrain on a half-mile trail of easy hiking. Competitors will shoot from various positions, and the course is rearranged for every shoot.

Participants should bring their own bow and arrows, if possible. There will be a limited number of loaner bows on hand. Frost Valley staff will be available for tips and instruction.

The event fee is $16 for adults, $6 for children six to 13 and free for under six.
