‘Woodstock’ movie shown free in LaPolt Park

LIBERTY, NY — “Woodstock,” the movie of the legendary concert that continues to define the ‘60s in the imagination of millions, will be the presentation in Liberty’s Sunset Series of free film showings in LaPolt Park, on Saturday, August 15 at around 8:00 p.m. Artists shown in the film include Joan Baez; Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young; Richie Havens; Jimi Hendrix; Jefferson Airplane; Janis Joplin; Sly and the Family Stone; The Who and many others.

The Sunset Series is a project of The Liberty Community Development Corporation’s Downtown Committee. Attendees should bring blankets or chairs to sit on; blankets to wrap up in are also recommended.
