‘An Evening with Debra Winger’

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Literacy Volunteers, in cooperation with Sullivan County Community College, will present “An Evening with Debra Winger” in the Seelig Theater at Sullivan County Community College on Friday, August 7 at 8:00 p.m.

Winger has received Academy Award nominations for her roles in three films: “An Officer and a Gentlemen,” “Terms of Endearment” and “Shadowlands.” She has made her debut in the literary world with her book “Undiscovered,” published by Simon & Schuster in 2008.

On August 7 Winger will perform readings from her book that describe her life’s journey. She will also answer questions from the audience. At the end of the evening there will be a book signing in the lobby of the Seelig Theater, where light refreshments will be served.

Tickets cost $20 for general admission, $18 for seniors, $15 for a group of 20 or more and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased at The Literacy Center, 63 North Street in Monticello.

Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the door at 7:00 p.m. the night of the performance. “Undiscovered” is priced at $23.
