Tri-State Family Festival features European fireworks

MATAMORAS, PA — The Tri-State Chamber will host the Tri-State Family Festival from Wednesday, July 22 to Sunday, July 26 behind the Best Western, 120 Route 6 and Route 209.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Summerville, Jay Roth, Cutting Edge, Final Drave, Insanity and U4EA. A fireworks display using European fireworks rather than the more familiar Japanese displays is scheduled for Saturday, July 25. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the carnival will be open from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. On Saturday, opening time will be 3:00 p.m., and Sunday hours will be from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.

Admission costs $2; children under 12 are admitted free.
