Lakeside Players offer free theatre camp

LAKESIDE, PA — For the fifth year, the Lakeside Players will hold a free theater camp for young people this summer. For two weeks in July, starting on Monday, July 13, children will act, play theater games and rehearse plays on the stage at Community Hall, next to the Lakeville Methodist Church on Route 590 in Lakeville.

Children ages 8 to 12 are eligible to participate this year. Those who want to work behind the scenes are welcome, too. The camp will be held Monday through Friday on the weeks starting July 13 and July 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The camp will culminate in a performance on Saturday, July 25, at 7:00 p.m.

Veronica Deisler, Roxan Schwartz, Sara Schwartz, and Marylou Ambrose will be camp instructors.
