Historical exhibit is all fired up and ready to go

HONESDALE, PA — The Honesdale National Bank’s marketing VP Mark Graziadi, second from left, and president and CEO Bill Schweighofer, third from left, cut the ribbon for the Wayne County Historical Society (WCHS) exhibit “Fire! Fire! History of Fire Fighting in Wayne County.” At the photo’s left is WCHS executive director Sally Talaga, and to the right of the ribbon-cutters are volunteers Devon Wichern and Matthew Kohrs.

The exhibit, underwritten by the bank, was created and assembled by Talaga and Trustee Jim Bader with the assistance of many volunteers, local fire companies and citizens who loaned or donated photographs and equipment. It will be on display through the end of 2009 at the Wayne County Historical Society, 810 Main Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
