Milford makes music!

MILFORD, PA — No matter where you wandered through the streets of Milford last weekend, free music could be heard emanating from stages, businesses, porches and sidewalks during the Milford Music Festival. Styles ranged from blues to country to classic rock and more, with hometowner Vanessa Carlton returning to headline the main stage in the Ann Street Park. The festival, which faced cancellation last year before ultimately being held, was marked by good energy and high spirits as crowds thronged the streets and businesses. The Regiment Quartet, associated with the Black Bear Conservatory of Music based in Hawley, PA, performed its concert, “Inspired by Nature,” in the lush gardens of the Grey Towers National Historic Site. Pictured clockwise from left are Marissa Cooper, violin; Robert Murphy, violin; Tim Kaczynski, viola and Gretchen Horvath, cello.
