Pick up seeds for pumpkin contest

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — The Cochecton Youth and Tusten Youth are joining together for a 2009 Pumpkin Harvest contest to take place in the fall. Kids can pick up their pumpkin plants or seeds on Saturday, June 6 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Huntington firehouse. Winners of the heaviest pumpkins will receive a bond. The Cochecton Youth will also host their annual car wash on June 6. Cars cost $5 and vans and trucks cost $7. For more information call 845/252-3634.
