Historical society provides ‘Food for Thought’

HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Historical Society is presenting a series of talks on Wayne County’s history called “Food for Thought.” All talks are from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the museum at 810 Main Street.

The next talk will be on Saturday, June 6, titled “Jones & Roa Expedition, Honesdale, PA to Kingston, NY,” presented by Darren Jones and Ryan Roa. Other talks will include “A Stage Coach Ride from Newburgh, NY, across Wayne County,” by Mary Curtis, on Saturday, June 20; “The Stourbridge Lion,” by Ken Sproson, on Saturday, August 8; and “The Irving Cliff Hotel Fire: The Real Story,” by Christine San Jose on Saturday, September 5.
