Racino to hold MS benefit car show

MONTICELLO, NY — Monticello Casino & Raceway will hold its fourth annual car show to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) on Sunday, June 7. Antique and classic vehicles will be on display outside Monticello Casino & Raceway beginning at 12:00 noon. New to the show this year is a designated section for motorcycles and street bikes. Awards will be presented to the top performers in each class, determined by year and make of vehicle and automotive modifications.

Vehicle registration, which costs $10, will begin at 11:00 a.m., and the first 150 cars to sign up will receive honorary plaques. To preregister call 845/794-4100, ext. 410.

In addition to the car show, Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Simply Sullivan, an expo featuring vendors of all industries that manufacture products or provide services in Sullivan County.

Donations will be accepted through Wednesday, July 15, when Monticello Casino & Raceway will present a benefit performance of Ladies Laugh Night with Catch a Rising Star featuring Sherry Davey and Friends.
