On the trail for antique bargains

FERNDALE, NY — The Sullivan County Visitors Association (SCVA) is now distributing a Sullivan County Antiques Trail Map with a new look. Twenty-four shops chose to participate in the 2009/2010 Antiques Trail Map, which provides the shopper with full descriptions and addresses as well as a map which pinpoints their location(s) within the county.

Richard Delia of Ferndale Antiques Marketplace, who provided critical expertise in bringing the project to fruition, says his customers tell him the map helps them plan shopping expeditions in their search for furniture, lighting and special accessories for their homes.

Copies of the 2009/10 Antiques Trail Map, as well as the 2009 Sullivan County Catskills Visitors Guide, are available at the SCVA offices in Ferndale. They will also be available at the stores on the map, including Ferndale Antiques Marketplace in Ferndale, the Cutting Garden in Youngsville, In2Retro and the Country Bum’Kin in Mongaup Valley and the Callicoon Flea Market in Callicoon. Bulk supplies for any business wishing to display the Antiques Trail Map can also be obtained at the Sullivan County Visitors Association at 100 Sullivan Avenue in Ferndale.
