• The story, Not in our watershed, which appeared in the May 14-20 edition of The River Reporter, erroneously stated that eight New York City community boards had passed resolutions calling for a ban on drilling within the citys watershed. In fact, the community boards have passed resolutions to prohibit hydraulic fracturing drilling for natural gas throughout the state of New York. In addition, the cost to install a water filtration system to treat the citys water supply if contamination were to occur is estimated between $10 to $15 billion dollars.
• The time of the Delaware Valley Operas performance of Lehars The Merry Widow on Sunday, July 26 at the Seelig Theatre, Sullivan County Community College was listed incorrectly in Upper Delaware Magazine. The performance begins at 3:00 pm.
