Stourbridge excursions will link festivals in Honesdale, Hawley

HONESDALE, PA — The Stourbridge Line will hold train excursions on Saturday, May 30 to provide transportation between two special events to be held on that weekend: the Tour of Honor in Hawley and the Arts, Crafts and Antiques weekend in Honesdale.

The Tour of Honor rides will depart from the Wayne County Visitors Center, 32 Commercial Street, Honesdale at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to go to Hawley, where the American Veterans Traveling Tribute will be displayed, including the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall, Cost of Freedom Memorial, 9-11 Memorial, Walk of Heroes and much more (see story on page 13C).

The Honesdale Express will bring riders to the Arts, Crafts and Antiques from Hawley, with the train leaving at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets for all May 30 rides cost $12 for adults and $10 for children age 12 and under. Reservations are required on all rides.
