Fifties dance to raise scholarship funds

MILFORD, PA — The Kiwanis Club of Delaware Valley will host a “Twist and Shout ‘50s Dance” on Saturday, May 30 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at Gold Key Lake Estates, Ye Olde Firehouse. Proceeds from the dance will benefit the Kiwanis Scholarship Fund, which provides financial awards to students in the Delaware Valley School District.

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite ‘50s outfits, and there will be a Best Dressed prize awarded. There will be food, games, door prizes and raffles. A DJ will be spinning ‘50s-style music all night long.

Tickets cost $15 per person or two for $25. They may be picked up at Advantage Abstract at 1831 Route 739 in Dingmans Ferry or at Coldwell Banker at 404 W. Harford Street, Milford.
