Art à la Carte in the Catskills

Tease your visual and culinary palates

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — A group of nine galleries and art organizations in Sullivan County will offer a collaborative program through December of this year with special exhibitions and events. Art à la Carte features a map for a self-guided tour with a rich diversity of visual art and area restaurants for every taste in the vicinity of each gallery. Maps may be picked up at participating galleries: The Old Stone House in Woodbourne, Catskill Art Society in Livingston Manor, Delaware Arts Alliance in Narrowsburg, Red Eft in Wurtsboro, Callicoon Fine Arts in Callicoon, Rolling River Cafe/Gallery/Inn in Parksville, River Gallery in Narrowsburg and Catskill Artists Gallery in Liberty.

The opening event, for May, is a group show at The Old Stone House, 282 Hasbrouck Road. Participating artists are Marylin Lytle Barr, Gloria Bernstein, Nick Clemente, Sara Conklin, Fred Dahl, Ann Higgins, Elise Hornbeck, Evelyn Porter, Leni Santori, Judith Schafman and Dan Smythe. There will also be a craft fair in the outdoor pavilion. The Old Stone House is open Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or by appointment.
