Racing on the Lackawaxen

HONESDALE, PA — The Honesdale Area Jaycees will host their annual Canoe Race on Sunday, April 27. The race will cover nine miles, from Honesdale to White Mills on the Lackawaxen River, and include eight classes.

The race course starts at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on U.S. Route 191, and ends at the White Mills Fireman’s Field on Route 6. Check-in is from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. with the race starting at 11:00 a.m.
