Clean it up and laugh it up

Eldred PTSO slates two fundraisers

By SANDY LONG

ELDRED, NY—Trash or laughs? Both will be tapped to raise funds for Eldred Central School’s “Raise the Lights” project by its devoted Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO).

The first event, the Eldred PTSO Spring Clean-up, is a community recycling drive to be held on April 18 at the Eldred Central School in Eldred from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Last year’s clean-up proved so successful that the effort has been expanded to include recyclable materials from the ongoing construction project at the school. Proceeds from the recycled materials will help to pay for permanent lighting at the school’s athletic fields.
