River Muse comes to River Gallery

NARROWSBURG, NY -- The River Gallery will hold a book signing titled ”River/Muse” on Saturday, April 18 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a poetry reading by Cass Collins starting at 7:00 p.m. The book will cost $20, with 15 percent available.

Collins was born near the confluence of three rivers: the Monongahela, Allegheny,and Ohio. She has spent most of her life on an island situated between the East River and the Hudson. Childhood summers found her by the banks of the Indian River in Ontario, Canada. Now she writes an award-winning column, The River Muse, for The River Reporter in Narrowsburg,, where she shares a home with her husband, Jim Stratton, on the Delaware River.

“Rivers are a creative touchstone for me” said Collins. “They have such infinite possibility, so many nuences,shades.energies,and potential.” Collins is a member of the Upper Delaware Writers Collective.
