Art, antiques and food in Port

PORT JERVIS, NY — Downtown Port Jervis will witness an explosion of art, music, antiques and great food on Saturday, April 11. Among many participating organizations are Cedarwood Center for the Arts, hosting a vintage needlework exhibition at 4 Fowler Street; Port Java at 19 Front Street, which will combine an art exhibit, “J.A.R.” acoustic rock and a special on coffee; Café Roxanna at 79 Pike Street, featuring the art of Rosalid Hodgkins; and historic photos of Port Jervis covering the walls of the Erie Hotel, at 9 Jersey Avenue.

For antique lovers, there will be live music and refreshments at the River Valley Antique Center, browsing for mid-century décor at Quicksilver Antiques at 25 Front Street or Mission-style items at Bungalow Antiques and Unusuals, and many more participating stores.
