Acting workshop to benefit American Readers Theatre

MILFORD, PA — Director and founder of the American Readers Theatre (ART) Jeffrey Stocker brings his 30 years of professional work as a director and master acting teacher for stage and film to Milford on Friday nights at the Biondo Community Room, located at 221 Broad Street from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The workshop deals with on-camera auditioning technique and basic scene study for both stage and film work. The fee of $25 per session benefits the American Readers Theatre, the not-for-profit performing arts organization that promotes literacy through the performing arts.

Stocker recently directed award-winning actress Francis Sternhagen, and has worked directly with playwright Edward Albee and Christopher Durang. He has also been awarded grants from the Noel Coward Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. The workshop is ongoing and for beginners to experienced actors.
