LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society will present a series of classes this spring in a variety of subjects from beading to calligraphy. Among them will be a course on African Dance that will take place on seven consecutive Fridays, starting on April 3 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. and costing $90 for members and $105 for non-members; a course on performance writing also starting on April 3, running six consecutive Fridays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and costing $120 to members and $135 for non-members; and a course on creating stoneware, running from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. on six Sundays starting April 5 that will cost $165 for members and $180 for non-members. The clay course will accept students as young as 12.
