UpFront opens April 1

PORT JERVIS, NY — UpFront Exhibition Space will open its 2009 season on April 1 with an opening reception from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Its first exhibit will feature the works of Genevieve Arnault, Chelsea Shea Calnan, Donna Jean Carver, Jonathan Clements, Brenda Ferrara, Emrie Brook Foster, Debbie Gioello, Harry L. Goldman, Gordon Graff, Rob Greig, Rosalind Hodgkins, Tony Lordi, Jeffrey Nolan, Steven Polatnick, Steven Paul Riddle, Nick Roes, Amy Rowland, Mark Silverstone, Nancy Souliard, David Thomas and Greg Zukowski.

Artworks will include paintings, illustrations, sculpture, photography and hand-crafted floor cloths in historic 18th century designs.

Plaisirs du Jardin, next door, with gifts and plants for “the passionate gardener,” will also open for the season on that date.

Gallery hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. UpFront Exhibition Space and Plaisirs du Jardin are located at 31 Jersey Avenue
