Chills and trills in Tri-Valley’s “Little Shop of Horrors”

GRAHAMSVILLE, NY — Music in Our Schools Month continues with this year’s Tri-Valley High School musical, “The Little Shop of Horrors,” on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Tri-Valley Theatre.

“Little Shop of Horrors,” an affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies, is one of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time. It tells the story of a down-and out skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite.

Tickets cost $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens and are available at the door. For more information call 845/985-2296, ext. 5320.
