BRIAN M. COLL
Brian M. Coll, of Monticello, NY entered into eternal peace on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. He was 55.
The son of the late John J. and Mary B. McHugh Coll, he was born on January 3, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY.
Brian was a retired sergeant with 30 years of service at the Sullivan County Sheriffs Department, Corrections Division, in Monticello, NY. He was a member of Liberty Elks Lodge #1545 and was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Richards Coll at home; his daughter Erin Card and husband Dan of Johnson City, NY; sister Jane Olsen and companion Chris Jardine of Claryville, NY; brothers John Coll and wife Barbara of Kerhonksen, NY, James Coll of Jeffersonville, NY and Thomas Coll of Queens, NY; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Kevin Coll.
Funeral services will be at Ramsays Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Roy Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery, Monticello.

SUE ANN FENLON-GRANATO
Sue Ann Fenlon-Granato of Mongaup Valley, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 46.
The daughter of the late James Fenlon and Marion Bergersen Fenlon, she was born July 11, 1962 in Huntington, NY.
She is survived by her mother, Marion Fenlon of Mongaup Valley; husband James Granato at home; in-laws Michael and Carole Granato of Kauneonga Lake, NY; daughters Crystal Newkirk and Richele Fenlon, both at home; sister Theresa Howell and husband Robert of Kingston, NY; several aunts, uncles, cousins and two great-nieces.
Funeral services were on Monday, March 16 at Ramsays Funeral Home, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Msgr. William Collins officiated.
Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Bethel, NY.
CAROL ANN HELLER
Carol Ann Heller of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Callicoon, NY and Tyler Hill, PA, passed away from cancer on March 9, 2009, at home. She was 67.
She was born November 2, 1941 in Romford, Essex, England, the daughter of Leslie Martin and Hazel Newman Martin. She moved to Verona, NJ in 1959.
She graduated from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in Montclair, NJ in 1964. She touched innumerable lives with her compassion, wisdom, and skill in her 44-year career. She worked at Community General Hospital in Callicoon and Harris, NY and Wayne Home Health, Wayne County, PA. An early proponent of the hospice movement, Carol was instrumental in bringing hospice to Sullivan County, NY, serving on the board. She later worked as a hospice nurse and volunteer. In Callicoon, she was president of the Delaware Youth Center board and a member of the Upper Delaware Ambulance Corps.
Carol loved home and family. Her children and grandchildren brought her much joy, and she had a special place in her heart for her pets.
Survivors include daughter Kim Eschenberg and husband Dennis of Callicoon; son Lloyd Heller Jr., wife Helen and their children Cassie, Justin and Chloe of Portland, OR; son Daniel Heller, wife Yong Ok and their children Serina and Daniel Jr. of Mooresville; nephew Geoffrey Martin, wife Nancy and their children Abigail and Sophia of Keene, NH; cousins in both Great Britain and the United States; and many friends.
She is predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Frank Wayne Martin
A memorial service was held at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC on March 13, 2009., with a private interment at a later date.

PATRICK A. MILLER
Patrick A. Miller of Damascus PA, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at home with his family. He was 83.
His wife, the former Evelyn Kimble, died in January.
Patrick was born in Plymouth, PA, the son of the late Michael and Gladys VanOrden Miller.
He was a camp caretaker for Camp Equinunk, PA for many years and was recently employed at the Roberts Bats Factory. Patrick attended the Braman United Methodist Church, Braman, PA and was a member of the Black Diamond CB Club in Wilkes Barre, PA and RC Cars of Beach Lake, PA. Patrick was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by three sons, Alvin Miller of Waymart, PA, Dale Miller and wife Kathleen of Forest City, NC and Dave Miller and wife Tracie of Damascus, PA; eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Braman United Methodist Church in the spring at a time to be announced. Burial will be in the Braman Cemetery.

WALTER J. SAVARESE
Walter J. Savarese of Milford, PA, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 at Belle Reve Senior Care, Milford, PA. He was 86.
The son of the late Joseph and Rose Isola Savarese, he was born July 30, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. He was married to the late Helen Coyne Savarese.
He was a retired repairman for New York Telephone Co., New York, NY. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran.
Survivors include daughter Sharon Reynolds and husband Edwin of Shohola, PA; and Walters dog, Buffy.
He was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Savarese.
Funeral services were held at Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford, PA on Friday, March 6 with the Rev. Bruce Baker officiating.
Entombment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
