Reuter recognized by Town of Highland

ELDRED, NY — The Highland Town Board extended its gratitude to Ken Reuter, right, for 16 years of dedicated service as the town’s data collector. Councilman Paul Zimmerman presented Rueter with a plaque commemorating the many adventures Reuter experienced while performing his job. In other matters, the town cleanup was scheduled for May 2, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The board also passed a resolution opposing any change to the existing statute that provides for local election of the positions of town clerk and highway superintendent.
