Some enchanted evening

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — Music In Our Schools Month came to life on the stage at Sullivan West last weekend, with an enticing production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” directed by Bill Moloney, that captivated audiences.

At top, Cinderella’s stepmother, played by Cindy Peters, center, counsels her daughters Portia, left, played by Grace O’Connor and Joy, acted by Katherine Bunch. At bottom, Cinderella (Hannah Rettoun) tries to explain her delight to Prince Charming (Chris Murphy).

See last week’s newspaper for a list of actors and support personnel and visit riverreporter.com for albums of photos from the shows. CDs can be purchased by sending a check for $25 dollars payable to The River Reporter, P.O. Box 150 Narrowsburg, NY 12764.

Eldred Central School also staged a musical production, “The Wizard of Oz.” See page 16.
