Truck on the rocks
COCHECTON CENTER, NY The March 2 snowstorm that buried many parts of the Northeast was not that intense in our area, but it dropped enough of the white stuff to cause most school districts to shut down for the day. It also led to the usual fender benders on the roadways.
The truck pictured above got suspended on a rock wall alongside Nebraska Brook on County Route 115 in Cochecton Center. Ginger Pierce, who lives close to the scene, said four young men from the Harrisburg, PA area were in the truck on their way to do some work at Breys Egg Farm, when it started to slide at a sharp corner. It ended up with the front end resting in the creek. No one was hurt in the incident.
