Cinderella enchants Sullivan West stage
LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY The Sullivan West Musical Production Club will present Rodgers and Hammersteins musical Cinderella on Friday, March 13 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m.
The production will include classic musical numbers like Ten Minutes Ago and Do I Love You Because Youre Beautiful?, sung by the Prince (Chris Murphy) and Cinderella (Hannah Rettoun), the whimsical antics of the stepfamily (Catherine Peters, Grace OConnor, and Kate Bunch), the magic of the Fairy Godmother (Jennifer Leon), the caring relationship between the King (Brendan Creegan) and Queen (Margaret Breutsch), and the rousing energy of the Court Herald (Jackie Ellmauer), all backed up by an enthusiastic display of singing and dancing by the chorus.
The stage director is William Moloney, vocal director is Jamie Ward, pit orchestra direction is by Ross Reynolds, choreography is by Meaghan Mullally-Gore and the producer is Patricia Ellmauer.
All shows will be performed in the Sullivan West High School Auditorium in Lake Huntington. Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $5, for senior citizens and students. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
