A troubadour comes to Calkins Creek

MILANVILLE, PA — The Riverfolk concert series at Calkins Creek Vineyard will present Spook Handy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.

Handy has been described as “A real troubadour in the style of Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs,” in the words of Jim Beckerman of the Bergen Record. For more information on Handy visit spookhandy.com .

Tickets cost $15. A part of the proceeds from all Riverfolk shows benefits WJFF Public Radio and the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.

Handy will offer a two-and-a-half-hour guitar workshop, “Simple Measures for Drastic Guitar Playing Improvement,” before the show. The cost of the class is $25, or $20 if you have purchased a ticket for the show.
