Bowl-a-Thon helps send kids to camp

KIAMESHA LAKE, NY — Frost Valley YMCA will hold its fifth annual Bowl-A-Thon on Sunday, March 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kiamesha Lanes.

The event will raise money to ensure local kids are enjoying camp and our after school programs. Everyone’s welcome to participate in this favorite family event of the year. The minimum donation for individuals to participate is $25, which includes shoe rentals and two games. People of all ages are welcome to bowl and join in special Frost Valley “camp-style” challenges and prize drawings.

In 2008, through the support of businesses, individuals and bowlers, the event helped send over 60 children to summer camp. With help from lead sponsor The Blue Hill Lodge & Café in Claryville, each dollar raised will be applied directly to Frost Valley’s Campership Fund.
