Big Bear hosts United Way weekend

LACKAWAXEN, PA — Ski Big Bear will host the annual United Way Ski Big Bear Weekend and Food Drive on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.

Ski Big Bear offers rentals of equipment, a variety of lessons, trails that are open for beginners to experts as well as a terrain park.

“The generous support we receive from Ron Schmalzle and Randy Schmalzle of Ski Big Bear is greatly needed and appreciated,” said Tom Regenski, United Way Board member.

Lori Phillips, assistant general manager, encourages everyone to participate in the local food drive, and announced that if you bring in two non-perishable food items you will receive a 15 percent discount off your lift ticket.
