Buddhists celebrate Tibetan New Year

COCHECTON, NY — The United Trungram Buddhist Fellowship (UTBF) will celebrate Losar (Tibetan New Year) at the retreat center on Buff Road on Saturday, February 28 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The afternoon will include a teaching on karma by Rinpoche, prayers and offerings and traditional and non-traditional Tibetan snacks and treats.

On March from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. the UTBF will celebrate the birthday of Khenchen Rinpoche from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Saffron Indian Restaurant in Middletown.
