Visit an Alaskan wonderland at Crystal Cabin Fever

A life-sized cabin, polar bears and two 50-foot slides, all carved out of ice

LAKEVILLE, PA — An Alaskan wilderness will be created inside an old lumber barn at Sculpted Ice Works’ Crystal Cabin Fever event, which will run from Friday, February 13 through Sunday, March 1. The event will be open at 11:00 a.m. every day, and run to 6:00 p.m. every day except Sundays (February 15, February 22 and March 1), when it will close at 4:00 p.m.

In addition to a life-sized Alaskan cabin, there will be a dog-sled team, a giant polar bear, caribou, puffins, sea lions and a children’s play area with igloo, all carved of ice. This year there will also be two 50-foot ice slides, each slightly larger than last year’s. It has all been sculpted from nearly 100 tons of ice. There will be free hot chocolate with admission and free parking.

The cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children ages three to 15. Children under three are admitted free.
