Visit an Alaskan wonderland at Crystal Cabin Fever
A life-sized cabin, polar bears and two 50-foot slides, all carved out of ice
LAKEVILLE, PAAn Alaskan wilderness will be created inside an old lumber barn at Sculpted Ice Works Crystal Cabin Fever event, which will run from Friday, February 13 through Sunday, March 1. The event will be open at 11:00 a.m. every day, and run to 6:00 p.m. every day except Sundays (February 15, February 22 and March 1), when it will close at 4:00 p.m.

Lincoln Flag forms centerpiece of Pikes Lincoln Bicentennial
MILFORD, PAThis year marks the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincolns birth, and the Pike County Historical Society has big plans to honor Abe. Although Lincoln himself has no direct tie to Milford or Pike County, Pike County has a special link to President Lincoln: an artifact known as the Lincoln Flag.

Join the great backyard bird count
REGIONNature fans throughout North America are invited to join tens of thousands of everyday bird watchers for the 12th annual Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) on Friday, February 13 to Monday, February 16. A joint project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society, this free event is an opportunity for families, students and people of all ages to make an important contribution to conservation. Participants count birds and report their sightings online at birdcount.org.
