Start children reading early at PCPL

PIKE COUNTY, PA — Registration is open for several Pike County Public Library programs appropriate for infant through preschool aged children. Little ones ages three through five can celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday, February 14 with stories and a craft at the library headquarters in Milford from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., or at the Dingman Township Branch from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Weekly story hours for children ages three to six will begin on Tuesday, February 17 from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. at the library’s Milford headquarters. This program will run through June.

Weekly “Lapsit” programs for babies and toddlers begin on Wednesday, February 18 at the Milford headquarters. A session for ages newborn through 17 months will run from 12:15 until 12:45 p.m., and for ages 18 months through 35 months from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m.
