LibertyBikeTrail.org unveils upgraded website

LIBERTY, NY — LibertyBikeTrail.org, a Sullivan County bicycling and trail advocacy group, has updated its website for 2009.

“We’ve listened to user feedback,” Nicholas Piatek, founder and president of LibertyBikeTrail.org, said. “Our site is now easier to use and full of information people need.” The group added new features including the Trail Talk feature, an interactive message board that combines blogging functionality. There’s also a multi-tier search that spans across their trail database and posts in the Trail Talk area.

The format and look of the site have also changed.

LibertyBikeTrail.org’s goals are to build, restore and promote local trails. It also holds several bicycling-related events every year and runs the county’s only Youth Mountain Biking Club.
