Ice fishing for youth at Lake Labar

LACKAWAXEN, PA — The Beaver Brook Rod and Gun Club will hold its annual Youth Ice Fishing Derby Day on Saturday, January 31 at the club’s Lake Labar, located near the intersection of Lackawaxen Road and the Cochecton Turnpike.

The derby will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 noon. Youth age 16 and under will be permitted to enter the ice fishing derby. The club will provide refreshments and live bait for the kids, and there is no fee to enter. Prizes will be awarded.

Beaver Brook Rod and Gun Club is dedicated to helping pass along the pursuit of our outdoor heritage to future generations, and teaching conservation and wise use of our natural resources.
