Frost Valley YMCA holds snowshoe hike

CLARYVILLE, NY — Frost Valley YMCA will host a snowshoe hike on Sunday, January 25 starting at 1:00 p.m. The hike will serve as an introduction to snowshoeing and guests will explore some off-trail terrain while enjoying the winter scenery. Visitors will learn snowshoeing techniques and the history of the sport. Frost Valley staff will also point out how animals adapt to the snow.

Hikers may bring their own snowshoes or borrow a pair from Frost Valley. If conditions are not suitable for snowshoeing, a snowshoe-free route will be substituted. Space is limited to 30, so interested hikers are asked to pre-register.
