Pulling together at the Pike/Wayne potluck

HAWLEY, PA — Children attending the monthly Pike/Wayne Community Potluck in January display the clever items they crafted from recycled materials. The next potluck is scheduled for February 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Wallenpaupack Area High School. Bring a healthy dish to share, or help with cleanup or setup. There will be a family barn dance featuring The Uphill String Band, and attendees will have the opportunity to make Valentine’s Day cards for veterans.

Potluck coordinator Lenore Rogan said, “It is so important for the men and women who serve in our armed forces to know that they are welcomed home by all of us, and that we care about the ways their experiences have hurt them and changed them. A Valentine may seem like a very small thing, but a loving message can make a big impact.” There is no charge for the potluck and all are welcome.
