Chant displays works by Kehlenbeck and Palmer

MILFORD, PA — The artwork of Joan Kehlenbeck and Jim Palmer will be featured at a Davis R. Chant Realtors’ exhibit on Saturday, January 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., part of Milford’s Art After Dark celebration. There will be complimentary wine and cheese, and an artist’s talk at 6:00 p.m.

Kehlenbeck is an accomplished professional pastel artist, who also works in charcoal and oil. Local scenes, historical buildings and portraits are the subject of her art. “Living in the country has made my work an extension of my life. My goal is to capture the beauty of nature and preserve it for others to enjoy forever.”

Palmer is a primarily self-taught artist who currently resides in the Milford area with his wife, Annie. He grew up in northern New Jersey and began drawing early. He’s dabbled in other media, but continues to favor pen and ink, and has developed his style and technique over the years, exhibiting his drawings in numerous venues throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania while pursuing many other interests that reflect his love of nature and passion for matters of spirit. Palmer is also a tattoo artist. He recently opened his own shop, called Moon Gravel Arts, located at 310 Broad Street.
