Car fire on Route 97 NARROWBURG, NY — A Jeffersonville woman lost her car on December 16, in a fire that totally destroyed it. Betty Herrmann was driving the vehicle on Route 97 about a mile north of Narrowsburg, when she heard a strange noise. She pulled over to use a resident’s phone, and when she returned the car was fully engulfed with flames. No one was injured in the incident.
