Countys best make waves at West Point
By RICHARD A. ROSS
WEST POINT, NY The early season weekly sojourns to West Points Gillis Field House are all about development and progress. As such, winning is low profile as coaches stress techniques that will hopefully pay off as the key meets begin in January.
Here is a list of Sullivan County track and field athletes who finished in the top ten of their events on December 5. Bear in mind that though Sullivan County schools are smaller in comparison to many of the Class A or Class AA schools competing, participants are not divided by class at these meets. Many of the names you read below will be in the headlines as the division, league and sectional meets are staged later this season.
