Highway super wants Millennium to fix roads
Millennium: If we did it, well fix it

TOWN OF COCHECTON, NYBrian DuBois knows the roads of Cochecton better than most. As highway superintendent, he is charged with keeping them in good repair. Not surprisingly, he is dismayed when the roads are damaged, and, according to DuBois, they have suffered quite a bit of damage over the past six months while crews from the subcontractor Precision Pipeline were working on laying the Millennium Pipeline.
DuBois took this reporter on a tour of affected roads such as Tyler, Fred White and Old County. There were gouges, large cracks, scrapes and other damage. In the winter, water will get into the cracks and freeze, further damaging the surface.

Lawsuit targets Sullivan County college windmills

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NYKenneth Walter has been fighting against the windmills proposed for the college since planning began more than a year ago. Now, hes filed a lawsuit about the approval process for the projects. The suit was filed on December 3 against the Sullivan County Legislature, the Sullivan County Community College Board of Trustees and the Fallsburg Planning Board.
