Books and baked goods from the Literacy Volunteers

MONTICELLO, NY — On Friday, December 12, the Literacy Volunteers of Sullivan County will have a Book and Bake Sale in the lobby of the Sullivan County Government Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Books are very high quality used books from The Read It Again Bookstore, and all baked goods are homemade.

PIKE COUNTY, PA — The United Way of Pike County (UWPC) offers holiday donation cards allowing you to present all on your Christmas list with a generous donation to the United Way made in their honor. “Perseverance & Vigilance: The History of the Old Decker Stone House,” written by Minisink Valley Historical Society Executive Director and UDSB City of Port Jervis representative Peter Osborne, is available for $19.95, plus $4.80 for shipping and handling. The book is a 224-page, soft-covered illustrated publication by Minisink Press.
