Opening of garage doors biz in Jeff

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Dan Schwartz, left, Kathy Herbert, Ruth Brustman, Linda Schwartz, Michael Schwartz, Delaware supervisor Jim Scheutzow, Joe Tinari, Mark Schwartz and Jack Costello brave the early morning temperatures on November 26 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new business called Sullivan Overhead Doors.

Even in this challenging economic climate, Linda and Michael Schwartz decided to open a business because there are few options for garage door installations and service in the area. They linked up with Raynor, a worldwide distributor of overhead doors.

The business is located on State Route 52 in Kohlertown.
