Winter Holiday Relish

1 12-ounce bag of fresh cranberries
2 to 3 medium apples
2 to 3 medium oranges
1 10-ounce can of crushed pineapple
¾ to one cup of sugar, or to taste
1 cup walnuts
Wash cranberries and discard any soft or discolored berries. Wash apples and oranges well, as skins will be included. Process cranberries by pulsing in a food processor to desired consistency. Do not over-process. Place processed berries in a large glass bowl. Remove seeds from apples and oranges, but allow skins to remain. Repeat procedure with food processor, adding apples and oranges to the cranberries. Add pineapple and sugar. Stir well and refrigerate. The relish can be made several days in advance, as the flavors will meld. Stir repeatedly to enhance this process.
