A tree and a star lit up for the season

Milford’s Festival of Lights returns

MILFORD, PA — The Milford Festival of Lights, marking Milford’s annual tree lighting, will take place on Sunday, December 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Pike County Community House. The crowd will be invited to sing holiday songs with the Dingman-Delaware Children’s Choir. The tree and star on the hill overlooking Milford will be lit promptly at 6:00 p.m. by the Milford Lions.

This year marks the 22nd year that the Lions Club and the Pike County Chamber of Commerce, Milford Business Council will celebrate the Festival of Lights in Milford. The two groups formed a partnership in 1986 to create the Festival of Lights.

The event is sponsored by Pike County Light and Power, Niki Jones Agency, and businesses participating in the Milford Business Council’s shop local campaign.
