Highlights holds annual open house

HONESDALE, PA — Highlights for Children and Boyds Mills Press have announced plans for their 17th annual Holiday Open House.

The event, which is a holiday-season tradition for many area families, will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6 at the magazine’s editorial offices at 803 Church Street.

The open house, which is open to the public, features refreshments, story telling, music, an art show, crafts and more. Children may choose a surprise from the giant grab bag under the holiday tree, and everyone may register for a free drawing to win special gifts.

Now in its 62nd year, Highlights, edited for children from six to 12, goes to about two million homes, schools, libraries, and professional offices each month. The company also publishes Highlights High Five, a magazine edited for children from two to six.
